Courtney Lord is an artist and designer based in Austin, Texas. With a background in interior design, she has spent years exploring the art of curating spaces that feel collected over time—spaces imbued with authenticity and personal expression. After years of navigating the corporate world, Courtney chose to pursue her love of art full time. Courtney’s art combines various mediums including acrylics, oils, and mixed media elements with each piece hand crafted in her studio. Her artwork is inspired by post-modern aesthetics, brutalist design principles, architecture and the wabi-sabi philosophy of finding beauty in imperfection. Specializing in contrast, movement, texture and depth, Courtney’s art is reflective of her passion for curiosity and the uncertainty in the process of creativity and self discovery .
